If you had mentioned the Borg specifically from Star Trek it would be a tough decision between them and Alien. A race that strips you of your individuality, implants cyborg components throughout your body and makes you one of them is pretty frighting. On this list though, Alien wins.

Lets see: Acid blood that eats through metal, A mouth with jagged teeth that extends from a mouth of jagged teeth, abilities include climbing walls, swimming like a fish, clinging to moving spaceship (from the outside) and orally impregnates people with a delivery process that involves breaking through it's "mother's" chest. Come on now...was there ever any doubt?!?!

There have been a lot of good monsters over the years but Alien tops them all. These things were nasty from birth to death and the only nice thing about them was they were not bullet proof.
